The PVX Plus 2-ID-U requires that your serial number be activated for add-on package #10006. In addition to this, you will need to install some additional Griaule software components in order for the fingerprint software to interface with the reader.
What you need:
A) Fingerprint SDK Software
B) FingerCap USB Driver
C) Finger License Agreement
Steps to Install Fingerprint Add-on
| 1) | Select product to begin the download process. The File Download window will appear. |
| 2) | Click Save and select a location to save the installation file. |
| 3) | Click Open after the installation file has been saved. This will start the installation wizard. |
| 4) | Follow the instructions/prompts found in the installation wizard. |
| 5) | See below for instructions on how to install the reader. |
| 6) | See below for licensing instructions. |
Installing the Reader
If you are using Microsoft
Fingerprint Reader, you will have to install FingerCap USB
Driver. This software is completely free and the installer is
available on our download page. Install the software with the
reader unplugged. When you plug in the reader, a Windows' wizard
for new hardware installation may appear. In this case, follow
the wizard's instructions.
Please see our download page for a complete list of supported
readers. Note that FingerCap is incompatible with Digital
Persona's Integrator Gold or Password Manager.
If you are using Crossmatch, Testech or Secugen readers, you will
have to install the vendor's drivers.
Licensing
You will need a license in order to activate your copy of the software. This license (a text file provided for your serial number) must be copied to application's folder. Please consult with your dealer for the specific folder.
