Who we
are:
PVX Plus Technologies is your one
stop shop for all things ProvideX. Our goal and mission is to
supply you with the best ProvideX based technology available
today. We are the Canadian-based developers of PxPlus™ and
a worldwide distributor of PxPlus™, as well as, standard
ProvideX® and a wide variety of related Add-on
components. We offer numerous products and services that provide
enabling technology to allow your developers to expand the
functionality of your application.
Our
Products:
ProvideX and PxPlus are
application development environments targeting cross platform
business application development. Our development suites allow
for the creation of high-performance business application that
will run on a wide variety of operating systems such as Windows,
Unix, Linux, FreeBSD, etc. with little or no code or data
changes.
The underlying technology and
development language is based on Business Basic, which has been
around since the mid-1980s. Our implementation has extended that
core environment to encompass all the latest technological
advances thereby allowing proven business applications to take
advantage of all the capabilities found in today's modern
computer systems.
Included within the development
environment are a data management system, graphical development
toolkit, query systems, web tools, debugging system, and many
other features and capabilities. Our products are oriented
towards helping you make world-class business applications while
removing many of the operating system dependencies often found in
other development systems.
ProvideX is the core development
platform owned by Sage Software, whereas PxPlus is an enhanced
version, which includes numerous technical enhancements that
improve performance, usability, and reliability. Both products

We are committed to provide the
latest in technological features on a timely basis. Generally, we
prepare new builds every 2-3 months with all our latest features
thereby enabling our dealers to incorporate them into their
application as soon as they are ready. This avoids long delays
between major releases common with many other products and gives
our dealers a competitive edge in the fast moving field of
computer application development.
